Reading and Media: The primary "texts" for analysis in this course are your own internship experiences and contexts. In addition, brief readings and media are offered the first two weeks to prompt critical reflection. All readings and media are posted to the Canvas online course container for download or via web link within the week's discussion thread prompt.
Bi-weekly online discussions will serve as the primary opportunity for critical reflection and consultation as you process and reflect on your congregational experience, leadership style, cultural capacity, spiritual formation, and self-care.
In addition (but not a requirement of this course), you may find that keeping your own regular journal (private/blog) helps you to process and distill your experiences and learning in preparation for a more succinct bi-weekly reflection, or for your own learning and formation.
