CPE Integration Praxis
Course Description
This course helps students integrate their completed CPE experience into their professional formation and ongoing coursework at Iliff.
Learning Objectives

Critical reflection on their CPE experience to discern its influence on their vocational discernment at Iliff.

Exploring how practices and habits of a student's embodied faith and core values influence spiritual care, including expressing respect for diverse spiritual/religious identities and traditions.

Increasing agency and capacities for effectively working toward social justice and peace through the spiritual care conversation.
Teaching Methods

Group discussion - with particular attention to the final evaluation and its role in ongoing professional formation.

Readings - individually chosen based on areas of growth identified by the student.

Case studies - to analyze and explore a student's engagement with attention to individual and systemic interactions.
